Can I bring my spouse?
Of course you can! If your spouse is a part of your business and intends on being a part of the conference, they will require their own ticket. Otherwise, if they are coming just for the trip, no ticket is required and you can simply make your hotel arrangements accordingly.
Can I bring important employees from my business?
Yes, definitely bring important employees from your business. We suggest that the role of the employees you bring, align with the itinerary topics we are going to be covering. This way, you can ensure that it will be a valuable investment for your business to have them present.
Are there going to be events in the evening?
We will coordinate dinner reservations on the Friday and Saturday evening for all attendees to join. It will be a great chance to mingle outside of the conference with other Contracting.com members and with our team.
How many tickets can I buy?
You can buy as many tickets as you’d like! Our online ticketing system allows for up to 5 tickets, but if you are looking to buy more than 5, contact support@contracting.com.
What about parking if I drive?
Parking is available at the hotel at no cost.
Is lunch provided?
A hot buffet lunch will be provided to all attendees on Friday and Saturday. We will also have coffee for everyone each morning of the conference. The lunches provided will consist of a variety of foods to accommodate for as many potential dietary restrictions as possible.
What airports can I fly into?
The best option if you are flying is Chicago O’Hare International Airport, which is approximately 35 - 50 minutes from the downtown area.
Do I need to bring anything?
We suggest that you bring the following items with you in order to get the most out of the event:
- Pens/pencils
- Some method for note taking (ie. notepad)
- A laptop is required to access important resources & participate in workshops
- Business cards for networking purposes
- Snacks if desired
What should I wear?
We recommend dressing in something business casual. Khakis, collared shirts, blouses, dress shirts, dress pants, and other similar attire is great. The aim should be to appear professional and businesslike, but be less formal than traditional business wear.
